these are the new tools.
6061 aluminum core covered in structural foam on the lower handle
and uncovered on the upper but all covered by 2-3 layers of carbon fiber.
Pick is from a nomic. I have a CAD model for these and one that will
accept a grivel X-Monster Pick, which is going to be cut on a waterjet
shortly. I'll put some pictures up of them soon. These tools were used for
a week in the adirondacks and around my home. Weight is 1lb 11 ounces for these
complete. next ones will be lighter.
