Rick Swenson, left, and Charlie Boulding sat down for huge bowls of ice cream with chocolate sauce at the finish of the Iditarod. They invited me to join them. They explained that during the course of the race they think of ice cream. Interviewing a musher at the finish of the Iditarod is a reporter's dream job. They've been out there alone with the dogs, wishing they had somebody to talk to, and suddently here's a nice person asking them to talk. You don't even have to ask questions. They talk and talk, and it's all interesting.
