The Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) Blast Can, which captures the top-half of the Frangible Nut, whichs holds the vehicle down to the Pad before T-0. The two grey wires attach to the pyrotechnics (NSI's or NASA Standard Initiators) that supply the explosives which fracture the nuts into two pieces.
