I went out during the height of the storm in near blizzard conditions. I guess that is somewhat dangerous as I got disoriented at one time wandering in the fields due to the lack of visibility.

Officially we received 14 inches of new snow but locally I think we got closer to 16-18 inches. Everything was shut down. Cars abandoned when they got stuck. Really a mess. I see where the governor called a "state of emergency" to call out the National Guard to assist stranded motorists.
