This is a local resident black wolf who the people have named Romeo because of its friendly nature towards everybody's pet dogs. It plays with folks' dogs while out skiing or hiking on a daily basis. It did pack off a small dog last year and unfortunatly not with a happy ending. It is after all a wolf. There are a few photographers who have taken some absolutly beautiful photos of this wolf in great light and settings but they have something that I dont that helped them. They have a dog and I dont. People who have dogs get regular visits from Romeo and have been right up next to him for up close shots. This is the first time I have seen this wolf at the glacier and this is in low light and far away.
