"Riverdance Ferry" Driven onto Beach approx 2 miles from Blackpool centre and 200 yards from sea wall. Attempts to refloat at time of this photo had been unsuccessful and reports of Cargo on board varied from "Scrap metal and Lorries" to "Goods for Marks and Spencers".

The Riverdance Ferry was never re floated and was eventually broken up and removed from the beach piece by piece.
