West Bank - Luxor

Looking back over our shoulders now to the mountain called Al Qurn. Al Qurn the Horn, dominates the southern end of The Valley of The Kings and is strangely pyramid shaped. These hills belong to Meretseger, she who loves silence, and I have to thank Lenka Peacock for the following :
Nefer-abu, the servant in the Place of Truth, gave praise to Meretseger using the following words: "The Peak, she strikes with the strike of a fierce lion when she is after the one who transgresses against her. I called out to my mistress and found her coming to me as a sweet wind, and she was merciful to me, after she let me see her hand. She turned to me in peace, and she made me forget the sickness that was in my heart. So the Peak of the West is merciful when one calls to her."
Curiously personal words to some of us I feel, over all these countless years..

You are most welcome, Waz. This is a beautiful photo - your walk was happening on a lovely clear day. Al-Qurn stands strong, Meretseger's home looks powerful.
