TseTse road

Kapamba Camp South Luangwa National Park Zambia Africa

This is the road we travelled where the TseTse flies were thick. This is a mopane forest, but all the trees are stunted from repeated elephant grazing. Elephants like to eat the mopane leaves and will decimate a forest.

This photo was taken in September, the dry season. I expect the foliage sprouts as the wet season starts. This forest will look entirely different once the wet season starts.
