I have always followed a philosophy of trying to appreciate the little things in life. That could be a cup of coffee, a call from a friend, or even someone holding the door for you when you have your hands full. As a photographer I enjoy capturing the beauty, shape and design of the world around me. The simple qualities of form in the items that one surrounds oneself with can be, and are beautiful. I think finding an appreciation of the world around you, most especially the world you have chosen to be around you, is a very warming and satisfying feeling. Exercising this as reflection of who you are can help bring an appreciation and understanding of yourself. Something that is often needed and always welcome.
