I was called in to take some photos of the sofer (Rabbi Menachem Bialo of "Sofer On Site") doing maintenance on our Torahs. This is one of the shots that I liked.
The camera had a custom WB set for the mix of fluorescent and natural lighting. Edited with PhotoImpact 12, white balance was readjusted by using a pick color option and the feather was used. Creative Lighting was applied to highlight the central portion of the photo, and a duotone mask was applied that allowed 16% of the original color to bleed through.

No flash, and a tripod was used.
