472 SNOW ROLLERS

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA

"SNOW ROLLERS" are a rare winter weather phenomenon that occurs when strong wind
blows clumps of new fallen, sticky, wet snow across an underlying frozen surface.
They roll into tubes and disks (sometimes almost spherical) and advance until
size, friction and embalance stop them. They can grow to a foot (30cm) in diameter.

other sizes: small medium large auto

The wind has to be blowing hard to make some 1 foot rollers! Never seen that around here.
