The first fast food to come to Blue Ridge was Tasty Freeze.

UPDATE!!! Linda And Mike discussed at length... This was the first fast food CHAIN restaurant, to come to Blue Ridge....the other fast food was on the north end of town and was locally owned by the Lance's. Both had car hops.
