I think I would prefer seeing the lion from down here too! That looks like quite the hike, up all those stairs. This is a classic example of why thumbnails are not a good measure of a photograph. Before I opened this up, I thought it was a roof with a vane or ornament on the tip. HA! Could you tell us a bit more about this Lion? The people really add a good sense of the size of the thing.

What a hill! It's an intriguing setting - and the clouds contrast with the slope very nicely. Color is super.

A degree or two tilted CCW, but a fascinating image nonetheless. Where is this place? The long stairway reminds me of climbing the Mayan pyramids.
