My Favorite Subjects

Lake Clark, Alaska

A Memory Shot.
A Bald Eagle and a Grizzly Bear crossed paths on the mud flats, and then went their separate ways.

This is a shot where "content" makes it a favorite of mine. Thank goodness for the Quick Release Plate on my Tripod! It was a spontaneous, hand held shot of the fleeting moment.
Standing in the mud in hip boots, I had the tripod set up in the opposite direction and was concentrating on a different bear when this scene unfolded. What a delight to be able to capture this wonderful memory of a magical place: where most anything can happen in Nature.

This is an incredible series of pictures. It's also one of those that there are parts that we can dream about about probably parts we'd just rather be in a different place, like a TV screen, experiencing. Keep putting up the great pictures. Craig

Unbelievable shot, just simply amazing.
