Another view of Wizard Island

(from Wizard Island Overlook?- about 80 minutes from the start, 2.3 miles)

This part of the rim trail is probably the most popular ski route at least in good weather

From here we would go around the watchman which can have drifts, or fill in where the road was blasted in rock to regain it's natural steep and deep slope. This day the traverse was not too bad particularly uphill.
