Have you ever used these?
I never heard of them before a class I took last week

I ordered them Thurs & they were here Saturday
Dunno if they are worth it, but I'm gonna give it a try

Canon EOS 40D
1/60s f/3.5 at 28.0mm iso640 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Nice shot. I can't speak for them as I've never used them, but I hear they're rated pretty highly.

Hey... a 40D; when did that happen? I'm liking the metering I get with it, but the autofocus sucks (has the same issue, it seems, as the ultra expensive 1Dmk3 and "busy backgrounds"). Never used any of that hood stuff; I just use my shirt to wipe the LCD :^)
