light dances to
music heard
by the eye, sparking
memories in swirls
of color, mystery
in plain sight.

how often we
miss its invitation
so busy are we
trying to learn
a dance we
already know.

    i feel it takes the right spark, the right moment, condition, the fate - to start a new
    dance, learn new steps....not everyone is given that challenge/opportunity
