Stained Glass

I followed a tutorial at this link http://www.photoshoptalent.com/photoshop-tutorials/pst/304/Stained-Glass-Effect.html I found there were several gaps and had to add several steps to get the results I was looking for. A few tips on the Ray layer. I made a new layer for the Rays. I used the polygoal Lasso tool to select a shape for the first Ray. Do NOT deselect the shape yet, but fill with a Cloud Texture, then add a Sandstone Texture, Motion Blur, and Ocean Ripple and Colorize to taste and Stroke with a Square Brush at 6 px in black. After all that you may Deselect the polygonal shape. Continue doing ONE HALF (left or right) of the image. Change your Colorizations and Blur for better effect. Once you have that HALF done Copy that layer, Flip it Horizontal and move to the other side. This will give a much better RAY and take lots less time than doing each Ray itself.
I found the image The Visit Of The Wise-Men at this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:The_visit_of_the_wise-men
