Using a 2X sigma teleconvertor, a 300mm EF 75-300 III telephoto and a reversed 50mm olympus lens at F11 gives a 15:1 macro. The blunt object! is a sharp needle. The EF 75-300 III telephoto has has its black plastic lens flare guard removed to permit the use of the sigma teleconvertor at a zoom range of 200-300mm only. Sharpened and resized only in paintshop pro XI. The black lines are 1mm apart (see previous image).
