Ice covers Mjøsa outside the town Hamar, in february 2006.
Mjøsa is the biggest lake in Norway, situated in Hedmark county in south-east Norway.
But the climate keeps getting warmer, so ice is more rare now than just a couple of decades ago.
Just to the left of the wooded point in the background lies the arena for the figure skating
and ice hockey during the 1994 Lillehammer winter olympics.
