As others have mentioned, it's too bad the nose is obscured but you've exposed it well and your focus is sharp on the squirrel and its face.

Very good DOF indeed...I agree it's a shame the nose is hidden, but I doubt
you could convincingly clone it out, because you'd need a shot with the nose
in it to copy from.

I think your depth of field is OK. Your main subject is in focus and the tree and leaves makes for a natural frame. The only negative is the leaf blocking the squirrel's nose. You might try to remove it with software.
