Winter, when it's just cold & windy but no snow, is a difficult time for me to get enthused about making images. An image that I enjoy making starts and ends with emotion. On days like this it's hard to feel any emotion except - Damn, it's too cold to be doing this. As an aside, I got chemical hand and toe warmers for Christmas and a pair of split finger gloves so I shouldn't be complaining.)
Today was the final walk through for a large remodeling project that began October 31. Don't ask - you already know the answer; one "damn" per PAD is one too many. I decided to celebrate by using the shower portion of the project as today's PAD. Pretty desperate.
I did learn something. Not being one to do much architectural shooting - especially up close with a wide angle lens - barrel distortion was just something I knew existed but never had to deal with. Deal with it, fella'. The right hand edge of the shower stall glass looked like Robin Hood's bow. So - I learned to to correct lens distortion. Whoopee!
