Thanks, Lydia, for your suggestion. I do know how it works, but the "selection" part seems awkward to do with my "two left hands"... I'll check it out later, though; for the moment I leave it--malgré tout--as it is. Or: would you be kind enough to show me your "quick run" in "Pending", and let me know there whether I might--if I like it--substitute it for the "original" in Exhibition as our team-work?? Thank you anyway! ~ Humphrey B.

Edit. Transform. Distort. after making a new layer and selecting the background buildings. Works great upon my quick run. But, I know you wouldn't want to do this for every shot you take with your new lens. ~Lydia

It could be adjusted (I don't want to use the word "fixed", since it's lovely as is) in PS, you know.. select just those buildings and then distort or warp. I agree that the line of the main attraction is beautiful art in itself. ~Lydia

Yes, Lydia, this is the crux of my new wide-angle lens (brought to me by Santa a few weeks ago): first it "warps", and then you can't throw the background out of focus (I tried: see the f-number, and this is also true for the **Y** image). In this case here--having composed for the overall diagonal line--the one *really* inclined building just behind the "trunk", makes it all look even worse; hopefully I'll learn to correct for that ... or at least to taking it into account before pressing the shutter button. Thanks for commenting, Lydia! ~ Humphrey B.

This would be my fave of the three alphabet series... except for the warp of the background buildings, which throw me off too much. I'll stick with "X" for my fave, since I like it muy bien. :) ~Lydia

Thank you, mlynn and Santiago, for your kind words! (Melanie: it's another detail from the same building as in **Y**.) ~ Humphrey B.
