Orion Nebula, M42

A combination of 14, 25, 63, 72, 144, 204, 234, 262, 301 and 601 second exposures at 1000 ISO and f6.3.
I took various exposures, limited by encroaching cloud, then batched them into 3 groups for processing. After stacking manually in Paint Shop Pro, I used layers to superimpose the 3 stacked sets to help preserve detail in the central part of the nebula. I reduced banding using Noel Carboni's tools in Photoshop Elements, before finally returning to Paint Shop Pro to adjust brightness & contrast. Phew!
