Black Water Cypress Swamp #2

Francis Marion National Forest, South Carolina

For South Carolina, it was cold today (2 Jan 08). 38 degrees at noon, with a wind chill in the high 20s.
A great day to be in the Francis Marion National Forest, making a picture or two of the swamps.
I like these micro systems - home to woodpeckers, snakes, frogs, bugs, and two
lovely big otters which came to see what I was up to. They looked warmer than me.

Hasselblad 503CW , Zeiss 50mm FLE, Ilford Delta Pro 400

***This one 'Printed' a little cooler - in keeping with the wind chill.*** full exif

Nice photo Colin...It is great to see a photo of the Swamp Fox's home. :) He sure gave the English a lot of trouble a few hundred years ago. :) I have always thought he was one of the more interesting people from the Revolutionary War.
