Nikkormat FTn

Perhaps my favorite rough tough user camera.
Purchased new in 1973, it has been used continuously for
34 years, without a service or a clean. An outstanding machine.
Seen here with f1.4 50mm and 35-135mm Nikkors.

They don't make them like that anymore. I have an FT3 and EL and those things are built like tanks. You can drive nails with them all day then take pics of whatever you just built...LOL

A fine piece of machinery,a true camera, and a ice set of lenses !
XP1 was a very fine film too ! My favorite in the 80's !

I had the same 1.4 lens and it was the best and sharpest I ever had ... The body is loud and the mirror not well dampned, but you can lock it.... Sometimes the lightmeter hessitates due to oxidation...
