A Louisiana Oyster Shucker

This man, along with seven other shuckers, stand shoulder to shoulder opening hundreds of dozens of oysters each day. Some are served raw while others are charbroiled on the grill behind them. This restaurant is famous for its "Charbroiled oysters" which are broiled quickly in the half shell over the fire that you see behind the shucker, and served with melted butter, parsley on the top, and, of course, French bread.

Don't know if you do Oysters Kilpatrick over there...?? In shell the same way...
a few fine short strips of bacon, sprinkle over a couple of tablespns worstershire & tomato sauce/ketchup to you ) place under grill/broiler to you ) for 15 min serve on a bed of rocksalt with lemon wedges...delicious !!

I sure would rather eat 'em than prepare 'em. Although photographing them might be the most fun of all. This photo is so nicely done with all those different light sources.
