This man, along with seven other shuckers, stand shoulder to shoulder opening hundreds of dozens of oysters each day. Some are served raw while others are charbroiled on the grill behind them. This restaurant is famous for its "Charbroiled oysters" which are broiled quickly in the half shell over the fire that you see behind the shucker, and served with melted butter, parsley on the top, and, of course, French bread.
