Once a week, the largest shopping center on Maui, Ka'ahuman Center, hosts a local farmers market.
Most of the farmers bring produce that caters to the tastes of Maui's many ethnic cultures. Although you will find
the basics, you will also find things like Kalamungai, Labanos and all sorts of other vegetables, herbs and spices
you will never see in your local Safeway.
This isn't usually something you see in mainland shopping centers and yet another thing that makes Maui
a little different than anywhere else in the country.
