Dear Sir, Thank you so much for your impresseive photo of a bull elk. It is wonderful. I am an amateur painter wishing to do a painting for some friends here in Oegon who woke up one morning years ago, surrounded by a herd of sleeping elk in their snowy back yard. The story impressed me so much that I would like to try to paint it, but I have never seen sleeping elk and don't know what positions they get into while sleeping.
