The following is a mixture of comments from 2005, some time after 2008, and September 2023.

2005: This is another "accidental image". Sorry, there's no explanation about this one; it has a significance, but it's just for me.

2023: And looking back 18 years, I have no freaking idea what that significance was.

2008+: Alas this Starbucks no longer exists; in 2008, all but a handful of Australian stores (and all of the ones in the ACT) were closed.

2023: These days I despise Starbucks for a multitude of reasons, of which the dishwater that they pass off as coffee (personal opinion only, but seriously, have you tried it?) is just one. Unfortunately (and inexplicably) they seem to have made a comeback; as of the time of writing there are 24 in Queensland, 23 in NSW and 19 in Victoria.

2023: This image has been moved from the defunct former Show & Tell Personal Edition gallery. It was an example of competition 50-Streetlife.

This was on my first trip to Canberra, and the first of the weekend getaway trips that I would do with increasing regularity over the last half of the 2000s. Unfortunately that means that I was still clueless and shooting .jpg instead of raw.
