The "blue cigar" held by the boy in the center is actually
a cast for his little finger that had fallen off. It was so
cold that I could barely trip the camera shutter. Without
any gloves on, the boy's hands are probably nearly numb.
What's most important to them at that moment was getting up
to their next run down the hill. Pain is not an option!
