180-degree pano from 8 images, showing my hiking route

Culvert Canyon (near Moab, Utah)

The dead-end forced a back-track almost as far as the tower of earlier photos (out of view to the left). Then I angled right, past the top of the pour-off, and continued to the low white "ridge." The white ridge, with a ten-foot drop-off, was another dead-end. Another back-track, then I hiked parallel to but below the white ridge, descended slightly, ascended again, and reached a point (second dead-end in the photo) from which I had a good view of Jeep Arch. But from there it appeared that there was no way to get up to the arch from this side, so I back-tracked yet again, dropping down to another shelf, which I followed out of the scene to the right. Whew!

For the sake of the viewing public I cloned out Starbucks, McDonald's and Wal-Mart.

Very cool Dave. I've been trying to find the Starbucks; they're everywhere these days.
