Verreaux's Eagle Owl(Bubo lacteus)

A massive owl which has the most amazing pink eyelids.
This bird was caught out on an open area of the Masai Mara near the Musiara swamp. As our vehicle approached the curse of the Rainbirder descended & the owl was thoroughly drenched!
