this was taken in the white ountians in Calif at about 11000 feet the tree is a bristlecone pine the oldest living trees around and yes it was a very hard shoot but I got some niece shoot we spent 4 days up there and the wind was blowing and it was cold around 0 at nite but all in all had a great time . hope to do it again some day.

yes you are right it was scaned when I first bought a scanner and it was not the best one on the so I just posted this one because I thought it was a neat picture. not a great photo and now I do a lot better . this was done a very long time ago so excue me for posting it.
