Jvan: nice "learning series"! Good use of controlled light, although a bit too flat.

HOWEVER: the skin tone is not nice at all, even when opened in a color aware app like Safari or Photoshop. I don't think it's only the white balance, I can safely say it's just the skintone.

Creating a color profile (eg: IT8)for your camera/back would be a great step in getting great color straight out-of-cam.

I suggest you read/google on the subject as it will ease your workflow no end, & improve your already excellent imagery quite a bit.
