Greater Spotted Woodpecker

I parked in a gateway for lunch and then noticed this woodpecker just over the road.
Would I have time to get the camera from the boot of the car, change lenses then get the shot?
I decided to have a go if only to frighten him off! Then my mobile phone rang, so I can say the reason this isn't tack sharp is that I had the cell phone in one hand and the camera and 100-400 in the other!!

Hey John - long time since I dropped in here though still keep an eye in at Pbase. Never have the right lens on at the right time - I know how that goes but you still got a reasonable shot! Fave bird of mine though it's actually a female 'Greater' Spotted Woodpecker. Lesser Spotted are more elusive and quite a bit smaller (not a lot bigger than a house sparrow) than the Greater. Lesser's have more black and white 'bars' on their wings too. Anyways - hope you are well? All the best....

This is a really great shot - you did well, it's normally hard enough with two hands full of camera!!!!
