Two Minutes Silence

I went with my son, Richard, to the Royal Air Force museum at Cosford, today which is, of course, when we remember the dead of WWI, WW2 and subsequent conflicts; and those who survived injured.

This guy was an ordinary RAF Sargeant who kindly let me take a picture of his medals while he stood in the new 'Cold War' display hangar.

I like your framing and angle with the general and the airplane inside the photo.

Excellent composition and pov. Very thought provoking with the aircraft in the background.

Let us not forget those who gave in conflicts other than WW1 and WW2 as well.
That stance of the Lightning is reminiscent of their spectacular climb after take off!

I like your composition John, looking up with focus on the medals but including his face and the airplane too.
