Such a shame, these Beach Huts are so a part of the local scene,and mean so much to their owners. Lets hope the summer brings the sounds of hammers and saws and repairs/replacements get underway.

I have to confess that my first thought, when I saw the thumbnail, was that beach huts can be a bit of a cliche, but the rest of your pictures are well worth looking at. So I opened this, and saw the damage. This tells the story better than the TV footage did last night.
