Two Harmonia axyrides conspicua and Eleven Harmonia axyrides succinea

Found a colony of Harlequin ladybirds on the inner lid of our dustbin trying to get shelter,
They are the 2 different species of Harlequin ladybirds.
The black with red spots are Harmonia axyrides conspicua and the other 11 are Harmonia axyrides succinea.
I had to move them before they got squished by the dustmen, but managed to grab a quick pik with the panny before they fled in different directions.

Always a welcomed guest in the garden. I hope they like their new home.

If you want the scanner photograhy guide (I usually just stumble my way through) to help you through the absence of your camera, I'd be glad to email it to you.

You did well! Just the right number too, too many and it starts to get a bit creepy-crawly-ish and icky :)
