Mexican Yellow

Red Slough WMA, OK

Note the sharply angled point (tail) on the hindwing and a pattern like a dog's face on the forewing (only the top of which is visible here). Possibly a first record for McCurtain County and Red Slough Wildlife Management Area, OK. My lifer!!!

I have about 15 of these living in my living room! They are always stealing my fruit juice! Sometime they get in my wine and then just lay around for a while or walk backwards for hours at a time.
