You can't take pictures in the caves at Padirac...it's damaging to the fragile ecosystem below ground. So...all I can share is what you've seen.

After Padirac, we traveled to see the Château de Castelnau-Bretenoux, near the village of Prudhomat. Driving up to it was very nice, since we were in the middle of an intensely sunny day. We got into the parking lot, paid our Euro for parking, and trudged up the obligatory road to the chateau. And discovered it was closed! Ooh la la! Encore! Maudit!
