Those huge tractors with the belts like tanks for tires are somethin' else. Oh and anhydrous ammonia is used to replenish the nutrients in soil the last years crops used up. So, it's a type of fertilizer. I might be wrong but as I recall it put nitrogen back into the soil, when I was younger (down in Ks.) they would burn the wheat stubble to put nitrogen back into the soil. Now they just use ammonia. That might be dust but getting down wind of that sprayer would be VERY dangerous!

the trail is just dust but he is injecting anhydrous amonia into the soil for what i don't know.

I think we sometimes forget how the food gets on our table. This is a great shot of modern agriculture, where everything has a purpose, even the lines of trees on the ridge behind.
I wonder what he was spraying, hope you didn't breath any in!
