Marv was watching this doe eating in a grassy area near the woods. I told him I was ready to leave and walked to the car. He stood there watching her a bit and then turned to come to the car. I was checking my pictures and when I looked up I couldn't believe my eyes. Marv didn't even notice but she was walking directly behind him, only about 10 feet back! I didn't say a word, just sat and watched her. He got it the car and I said "look" and there she stood one foot from my car bumper. I told him she was right behind you all the way to the car. She was flirting with Marv! It is rut season and she didn't care that he didn't have antlers, he had a nice cap on! LOL She was so adorable that I gave her a bite of an apple I'd brought along for a snack.
