Purchased in private sale. Seller's late father-in-law was a collector in the 1960s and 1970s. I purchased 13 pieces from this estate--many of them were big names.
I bought a small pot by her in Richmond Va. for $20 at a flea market with a bear paw and decoration around it. I carried it to Santa Clara Pueblo hoping to talk to her but found she moved to San Ildefonso. Mr. Eloy Naranjo (bought an awesome pot) told me she had moved so I went to San Ildefonso and she met me at the visitor center. She was amazed I had carried that pot all the way from Richmond, Va and wanted to meet her. We had our picture taken together. She told me she was no longer making pottery because of arthritis and that was in Sept. of 2006.
