2007 is the year that the Old Yellow Bus returns to Yellowstone. These buses are historic touring vehicles that where a popular tour bus starting in the early l900's. Tourist would get to ride the tour bus around the park and view the wildlife and natural wonders of the park. Now the Old Yellow Bus is back to take present day visitors on a nostalgic journey around the wonderful Yellowstone Park. There are eight vehicles that are being placed into operation this year with more planned for the future. Each vehicle will have its original Yellowstone Park Transportation Company number on it. These buses are interesting to see and can take a visitor back almost one hundred years.

The Old Yellow buses have been refurbished to give the visitor a nostalgic ride in state of the art comfort and safety. It is the ideal way to see the park in all its glory. The tourist will be able to choose among guided tours like the Picture perfect photo tour or the Past times and pastimes guided tour. There are several tours to choose from and each tour is planned to give the tourist the best view of the park.

Each bus has some history available to the tourist like the 377 Yellowstone that was built in 1934. Or the Cripple Creek number 371 that was built in 1936 also. A bus that is called the Monty was built in l937 and when it has a full load of passengers it can be called the Full Monty.
