The sun was late to break through the morning mist.
On my way to a late morning meeting I happened upon this little scene.
Now who wouldn't stop for a few seconds to stand there and take in the beauty.


This is a tidal area near the Cowichan Estuary.
The salmon are heading up the river to spawn right now.
If you look closely at the bottom right there are swirls, barely visible.
