waiting

the sepia toned one reminds me of a post nuclear neutron event - the bearing heat, the strange emptiness, devoid of people and traffic in the streets, in a place that all who know it know is usually teaming with people and cars. And then to have those three people standing there, after scrolling through the searing emptiness of the top 2/3rds of the vertical, with its intact buildings and empty cars...

The negative, by contrast, is a "classic" nuclear aftermath, the one we who grew up in the 50's and 60's (by the 70's, those generations coming after seem to have accepted nuclear events as part of their existence, past the novelty of a nuclear accident or war, a very false sense of security and comfort indeed...) where the white hot flash leaves photonic imprints of biological entities on the inorganic landscape.

Old school vs new skool nuclear angst...
