The "Kazoo" is not really an Asian instrument (one could say, this is a worldwide instrument with no resolvable source in history) using the technique of a vibrating membrane inside (like the Chinese flute "Dizi"). Speaking or singing through this pipe shaped instrument creates funny sounds and is beloved by children and comedians worldwide.
