The view east from the top of Mt. Helix

Mt. Helix is one of the highest points in San Diego. This is a view of our
fire looking east. The neighborhood below the flames is where my
daughter lives (primarily) with her mom and step father. They were evacuated earlier today.

I hope their home remains untouched & an end to the heartbreak comes soon, Gary.

Keep up the good work of documenting this. When all the hoopla on the news ends and they move on to something else, you will have this for history.
So happy to know your family is safe.

I've been watching this close since Sunday. I am so thankful you, Robin, Herb, and Gary B. have come through this without serious loss. Maybe conditions will improve today.

If it was not so dramatical, I would find this image beautiful!
