Phil's reference to "the cult of the individual" is quite appropriate and is evident in the myriad of Mao pictures, statues, sculptures, relics, dolls, etc. that we saw throughout China. This image of the Mao Button Museum puts this concept over the top!

Mao seems to be a presence in so many of our images. Just as his actions still echo in China itself. The cult of the individual is celebrated no better than this, Tim.
